Subject: Cessation of noise pollution caused by your tenant

Dear Sir or Madam,

Being ... (owner, or tenant, or occupant) of an apartment (or a house) located at ... (indicate the floor if it is a building, address, city), I am contacting you to inform you that Mrs (or Mr ) ... (name), tenant of your accommodation, regularly makes noise nuisances, namely ... (indicate the context of the nuisance).
I consider that, because of the frequency and the nature of the nuisance, this constitutes an abnormal disturbance of the neighborhood.
I have contacted your tenant on several occasions, in order to ask him/her to take the necessary measures to stop this disturbance. However, no change has been made.

I would like to remind you that, as the landlord, you are responsible for neighbourhood disturbances caused by your tenant, in accordance with article 6-1 of the law of 6 July 1989 n°89-462.

The situation having become unbearable, I hereby ask you to intervene without delay in order to stop this disturbance. If you fail to do so, I will be obliged to engage your responsibility before the courts.
